LYC closed on 23rd Sept at 90 cents, having had an intraday high of 93 cents.
Then it went into a trading halt, and announced the share placement at 45 cents (much better than the 36 cent Chinese offer that was knocked back).
When LYC came back on, the data from the ASX was adjusted to show the closing price on 23rd Sept as 67.5 cents - halfway between that 90c close and the 45c placement. This was assuming that every holder would take up the full offer, and that the dilution factor was to be adjusted in.
I personally wish they wouldn't do that, as all the historical data has been adjusted, and now makes the chart tell lies. According to the data, it never traded at 90 cents - but it DID! But the ASX data feed, from which most data providers get their data, is automatically adjusted.
