the good thing ,there will be an announcement regarding the special dividend, i think 10 cents. which balanced against the sp wil be 25% approx.
positive points -sigma has a dominant position in the retailing health sector. rapidly aging population. mangement being upfront about objectives regarding profitability.
possible t/o by woolies /coles.
negative points- possible share holder action suing company, govt and pbs scheme. management not being upfront and not informing small shareholders (eg,reading about it in the daily newspaper)
but the board should/must address the issue of special div and vision for the future to maintain any credibility.
considering this sorry saga has been played out for nearly a year largely to the detriment of the small investors. hopefully the board considers this and acts swiftly.
