The price is down but volume has been consistently spiking then dropping away, which suggest slow accumulation and some impatience too.
The question is will the dividend put a ding in the stock price or not ?
Or to put it another way is this a company of diminishing returns or on the cusp of a merger or growth.
I'm still backing the big retailers having a stab at the sector at arms length even with all the constraints of the ACCC no doubt will throw at them. 600 plus outlets is no startup retailer worth ignoring with a value of 400k to 800k each.
Look at the 7Eleven acquisition of Mobil as guidance to future growth and earnings.
