Regal's Brokers (CS) were still net buyers in the new year as at Friday, 7 Jan 22. It would appear Regal aren't willing to offload at these levels, which suggests they want to push it higher still. Double edged sword really, I'll be happy to see SP appreciation but I'd really prefer to see these vultures off the register as soon as possible.
In fact, since the new year Regal (or rather CS) have soaked more shares on a net basis than CBA retail has, which is particularly unusual going over the broker data for the last 12 months. One wonders whether Philip King over at Regal knows something we don't about positive news flow in the near future.
