If that $205/ton proves to be the case, at average 17.5mil ton per year production (1st 3-5 years of 10mil tons and the remaining 15 years ramping up to 20mil tons production), with resource utilization of 350mil tons for LOM of 20 years, Hawsons project's NPV8% will be:

AVERAGE annual EBITDA = (USD $205 selling price - $61 all-in-cost) × 17.5mil tons = USD $2.52bil.

NPV8% = 1.2 × NPV10% = 1.2 ×(((USD $2.52bil - $401mil) ÷ $96mil × $565mil) + $867mil) = USD $16bil = AUD $21.33bil.

If using the NPV8% figure from the KPS report, the NPV8% of Hawsons project would be even higher.

Whether AVERAGE LONG TERM price of Fe62% will prove to be USD $150/ton or not, no one has an answer. But one thing for sure, the current trend in iron ore price is fantastic incentive for current ongoing off-takes negotiations, especially after that genius LDA Capital financing deal of $200mil, plus $50mil from the options issued to LDA at excercise price of 70c.

I like this Hawsons project and I like this current management team with brilliant strategic thinking brains.

Sellers of roughly 47mil shares over the last 3 days (ASX + CHI-X) have exhausted their shares.

Those who wanted to sell (or should I say "donate their shares"?) at 20c-23.5c have done so over the last 3 days.

This stock is ready to move today I believe.

Spot iron price increased 2% last night again. Expect Singapore iron ore future index to increase to USD $135/ton today.

All the puzzles are being moved into place perfectly for HIO to re-rate towards $3.93 Sp target and beyond IMO.
