We don't know for sure if we weren't approached. I do believe a take over is a real possibility but I would hope they first want to have a lot more solid data and upgraded resource to be able to maximize the take over value.
Having said that it appears the current management team is putting all the pieces in place to make this into and actual mine. I personally would certainly prefer to see this project through even if it takes a bit longer before I can retire ... I am only 40 anyway so need to rush!
But obviously if a really juicy take over offer comes I wouldn't say no.
By the way, the deal you mention here with LCY and HAW, wasn't the investment only 9 million? Not exactly earth shattering is it? Really not sure what HIO could possibly do with 9 million.... Fully funded to BFS and for the building of the mine it wouldn't put a dent in it! For that sort of farm in project with HIO I would think she needs at least 100x that.
