Yes Rick, EW has intimate relationship to fib ratios. Every wave, has its sub waves so you are right in seeing a couple of waves up so far in this rally.
I'd recommend a book by Alan Farley, Master Swing Trader. It details the above relationship very nicely. The book was also recommended by W3hunter, it's an old publication but very much still applicable in modern times.
