I’m in the US currently. Inflationary costs are out of control. But despite there, people are still spending money. Whinging a lot about the cost of living, but still willing to spend. So yes, expect rates to need to push higher to control things.
Having said that, GOP look like they’ll win the mid term elections. Which historically has meant good shareholder returns over the following years. Good sharemarket - higher risk tolerance - easier to raise capital??????
