I know i am thick - many LT holders of HIO have told me here, but to summarise the area's magnetite prospects we have IRD (capEx $96m) wanting their deepwater port at Cape Hardy on the west side of Spencer Gulf, HIO $53m wanting a deepwater port at Wallaroo East side) and now MGT ($45m) tossing their hat into Wallaroo as well.
We know darn well there will be only one deepwater port, so let's get together and progress this magnetite mining by agreeing with the state govt where that is and work towards it. whether that means mergers, takeovers or just agreements, someone of these three will have to barge their product across the gulf to the Cape size vessels in the deep water port.
United we stand divided we fail. Know what is stopping progress? The fools in charge, certainly in HIO.
