Very bearish sentiments, David. And interesting figures. Yes, future growth is invariably factored into today's SP in most stocks. BHP is no Rob Crusoe in that respect.
Its two big earners are iron ore, which is a contracted commodity and the consensus is the rate will increase. And oil. And the most conservative forecast there is $140 bbl, with the most extreme at $200 in medium term.
I can't see any collapse in prices there.
17 PE would see way too high, IMO
