The short term price movements mean NOTHING. You will see the sp pushed down on good announcements then sometimes see sp rise when gold drops. Its psychological warfare by large investors to buy shares at the lowest prossible price. So as smaller investors all we can do is examine the fundamentals of companies and try make an informed decission on its long term prospects for ourselves. Ignoring all the short term shenanigans as irrelevant noise.
