been thinking that this consolidation is a really sound footing for NEN. I think price has held well with no news. I suspect we should see farm in partner announced shortly (Ken said inside the first quarter. I hold the view that the 'big name' of the farm-in partner will instill market confidence in the stock. I reckon that when you think about it, the farm-in deal is like adding $50 million to the balance sheet so you can think of NEN as having around $70 million cash which means the enterprise value and upside risk of Vietnam are not well factored into the share price. Not a bad time to top up in my view but I probably have too many already!! Keen to hear about Paloma. Additional acerage cant hurt with quick payback wells in that territory.. not to mention oil price moving north.
