Although this is partly speculation, built upon the MD's comments of the "immediate recognition" when the partner is named, It's is most likely a major looking to peek into Exxons back yard in Vietnam. With the promising stance of Exxon on the nearby blocks, it wouldn't be hard to imagine a competitor wanting to get a piece of the pie.

In regards to news flow from Exxon blocks I think we might not get as much as we would hope due to them holding their cards close due to peering competitors.

But on that note does anyone know whether Exxon has scheduled activities on the nearby blocks in 2012? When are these dates ? These dates, I would assume, must hold some potential for market releases of their results.
