All the talk of trading being thin is bull.
There is more nickel than ever being produced and stocks are a princely 5000 tons.
So if it is not being traded where is it going.Certainly not being stockpiled by ss manufacturers at these prices.
There are plenty of constraints on this industry other than developing mines eg smelting capacity and shipping capacity out of the Phillipines.
Watch the effect of one small catastrophe(Zimbabwes Bindura having no electricity is a good candidate)You could easily see nickel go to $26/lb
Amazing thing is you still have analysts who have not changed their predictions from $10 for 2007.
The market is betting over $18/lb in 15 months time and you gotta say this is as good as any guess (assuming no hiccoughs between now and then)
