Yep, that was quite a fall of crash proportions.
BigRoddy, no way we're going to fall 16% here today.
NY close equates to $AU $26.58, and that is some 40 cents under Friday's intraday low here, which was $26.98.
To fall to that level means 10% down from yesterday's close.
I would say that is pretty much the worst case scenario today.... and I would doubt that will materialise.
Our swings are nowhere near as exuberant as those of New York or London.
