A royal commission will no doubt weed out the bad operators BUT it will also uncover the massive costs needed to run an aged care facility, and it will likely conclude that most operators including the biggest ones will probably  become unprofitable or barely profitable. 

The government needs successful aged care operators in the very near future, and this will shine a light on just what funding may be needed in future gov budgets.
