latest results from Mxl MXL Signs First New Zealand Contract MXL has a contract with the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants and its learning arm Advanced Business Education Limited (ABEL) for the supply of its student management software eMinerva. The project will commence immediately with the first phase focusing on ABEL and will be followed by the second phase that involves customization to integrate with the Institutes membership system in 2005. The Institute has 26,000 members in New Zealand for whom ABEL provides education and training. As well ABEL runs education services into S/E Asia and the Middle East. MXL was chosen from a short list of vendors that went through a rigorous selection process conducted by two firms of consultants hired by the Institute to find a replacement for their existing system. MXL regard this contract very highly owing to the prestigious nature of the client and the extensive selection process their software has gone through to gain selection. The normal fee structure will apply to the contract. The New Zealand contract is the fifth signed by MXL between 1 July and 30 September 2004. Of the other contracts, two more, the Australian Institute of Fitness and International College of Hotel Management, are outside what would be considered the traditional education sector and highlights the versatility and market spread of the software.
