I sent BG an email today and as usual got a reply very quickly. He had this to say about the JV negotiations.

The direct equity discussions with our partner continue and I am confident that they will conclude successfully. I just cannot guarantee the timeframe. There is no doubt that this is the major issue in the market for Intrepid and it is my priority in the immediate future. Please remember that we already have a joint venture agreement. We are only modifying that agreement, with a new shareholder document, so that we can progress through the new direct equity process.

Brad also talked about the drill being at 250 metres on the Salakan pophyry target. He is excited about this and will have the results by the end of next month. More drilling results will be released in two weeks.

For long term holders it looks like everything is tracking well. Sit back and enjoy the ride.
