psi81, this piece of your comment is laughable:

"I think the big fear is APLNG (and the funding requirements for it),..... and is also the only one not to have suffered a big cost blowout and/or delay."

The only reason they have not "suffered" a cost/delay blowout is that they haven't announced one. What on earth makes you think they won't? Dollars to doughnuts they will.

In fact, the fact they haven't announced a blowout yet is actually quite concerning; as from all reports the project is in equally bad shape as the others, and it may be that they do not have a handle on cost/schedule to be able to announce? That is scary. Of course they're also trying to flog more of their stake, so they don't want to announce cost/delay blowout until they have done so.

Considering the company is embarking on a project that is larger than the company itself, they're in quite a naive position if they think they can deliver this on time and at cost. Look at the 20B$ cost blowout just announced on Gorgon, and Chevron have the wherewithal and experience that Origin do not...

I'm in for shares at $6, assuming a cost blowout of $4-5B, in-line with the other projects, but even at that price I'd be pretty wary.
