Miningnut may be correct in that a rights issue is on the way.
Despite my suggestions to the contrary.
Market action indicates something happening it seems.
Large turnover with stable share price is a sign of strength.

Should a rights issue eventuate it is likely the rights will be priced well below market for shares.

Let us guess a rights issue price at say 45 or 50 cents.
Makes for a worthwhile take up.

We may assume that rights will be listed on market until expiry date making it easy for holders to unload - assuming the market, especially TSX, will be keen to buy in.
Before rights entitlement date Anvil shares should increase in price as buyers will factor in the gains to be made by taking up rights at price well below share price.

After rights have been taken up and converted to shares Anvil share price will retract to accommodate dilution.

Interestingly the following period usually sees share price making new all time highs - after a respectable but not lengthy period.

The additional funding being used to enhance the well being and eventual profitability of company.

However this is all speculation.
