Today wasn't an AGM, today's type of meeting usually have a couple of company reps a handful of shareholders and somebody on the door of a meeting room. They would read out the proxy vote results, pass the motion and that's about it.
A deal like this would be passed 99% to 1% in favor of the affirmative.
