VH he starts in February and the board has no cred - he would simply need to go talk to the bigger instos if some entrenched board members needed to be moved on.. you know how this stuff works - there is not a single board member who would be listened to by either retailers or instos - the scot will have momentum - who would listen to coates or any of the others? Its obvious they weren't up to the job...instos would go to town if the board tried to block changes to address the issues as would we retailers - but it wouldn't reach that point the instos would tell them straight up and they know the numbers..
