I believe the SP is clearly being driven by the POG. The SPP may have some dampening impact but not great. Also some shareholders could be holding onto their stock to ensure they do not miss out on a SPP allocation. Expect a small blip when SPP allocations become tradeable but if the price of gold holds then I would not expect much movement in the SP as a result of some wanting to take profits at that time.
What is also a plus for NST is that the press reports relating to the gold mine purchases by NST have generally been positive. NST has grabbed the opportunity to acquire producing assets, when others have not been in a position to do so.
