In my view the value does not lie with the patent, it comes from network effects. Manufacturers don't want the expense of supporting multiple standards so they all have an incentive to get behind a single technology. It makes sense to support the one that already has the greatest adoption which makes Dante's market lead a virtuous circle. Current or next year's EBITDA not that relevant to me, this is one for the future. As with any investment no guarantee it works out, but very promising IMO.
