The reason for all the variability is related to how secure the companies are in there cost and long term sell price. For example Since Lynas has control of most of there input they may feel secure with slower changes. If the customer is buying NdPr for motor manufactures and has long term contracts to supply these people at a given price then the contract may vary slowly. I think the opposite is obvious.

We do not know but tracking it graphically will give us a much better idea.

i guess the pricing machinations may be clearer once some figures are released soon. new customers would be fully aware of rising prices and be keen to secure contracts before they go even higher.

do we even know if we are selling everything we pump out? is there room for new customers or is the 'sold out' sign hanging on the door?
