I have been trying to read into it for days... your reason sounds as good as any... but I dont think they would be triggering stops at these levels, but they may be trying to get small players to sell down to them, and if you look at the course of sales data...that is what seems to happen,
a couple of silly crap-all trades pushing price down then, bang someone drops 5000 and it is snapped up at market immediately. I guess it is how they keep buying when the stock slows down.
There has been a lot of buying in this one over the past few days, and it is still cheap IMO. So it wouldnt surprise me if someone was trying to buy up.
