When the rest of the grid then blacks out, you would be protected as you are already making your own power. So it ends up being performing the function of a back up generator, however it is always on.
Even if, for instance, a restaurant draws more than 2kW, the Bluegen could be linked to critical equipment such as refrigerators and cool rooms to safeguard them, whilst non-critical applications such as lighting rely on grid generated power...
