Thinking over night maybe Octavium isn't as silly as what they appear to be.
You have a major sharholder (TJN) that has announced that they are getting out of their investments. They have tabled a time frame and have also announced a "Dutch Auction" for one of the largest holdings they have. Once they are out of this holding their holding in CPI becomes irrelavent.
It would be in Octaviums best interests to keep TJN engaged and lock other parties out and then come back with a lower offer at a later stage.
Though unlikely, I have seen stranger things happen.
