hi rager,
remember that hdr was never genuinely trading at 1.20.
we know (after the event) that ML drove the price down that low in a clear market manipulation and preparation for setup for takeover.
ML were happily shorting and accumulating, and most brokers, including ML, had a much higher valuation on the company at the time.
basically the institutions have suckered a lot of the smaller long term holders out of the game before it is over.
if hdr does end up going for cheap then i will happily be taking the tlw scrip because the company obviously got a lot more "get up and go" than current hdr management who have proven themselves to be not up to the job in my opinion, also more beneficial for CGT purposes to rollover to new scrip.
i cant see the point of anyone selling at the moment as it is a no lose situation for a 1 month wait.
i know your comeback will be the vote wont get through but the instos will make sure it does as they are just playing the game to take the highest bid.
note i wouldnt bother buying if i wasnt holding either.
