Found this analysis of the strata insurance market by Macquarie from September 2023. Really interesting.
Refers to the Trowbridge Report but says nothing much was derived from it. Industry uses it as something to refer to but nothing results from it.
Figure 10 gives the money-go-round analysis of the insurance premiums, commissions and rebates (i.e. kick-backs to strata managers).
States SDF income relating to strata is 7% - compares with the 5% in the announcement yesterday.
Gives analyst detailed analysis on both QBE and SDF.
