At the moment, it looks like the 15mill placement will be priced at around 45c, but if the market price continues to slide, QRS may be forced to price the placement below 40c.
QRS must be pretty low on cash by now. Q2 report due soon, so we will have to wait and see how low. Because of cash constraints, I doubt QRS has the flexibility to delay the placement. A lack of cash also places QRS in a weak position for negotiation.
A bet those folks who participated in the recent SPP at 50c wish they had been told that there was going to be an additional major capital raising only a few months later. Would anyone have participated in SPP if the intention to place an additional 15mill shares had been disclosed?
