From an article I read last week, although I cannot remember which source, except that it was from a Tasmanian paper, Asciano is expected to complete the transaction before Christmas, quoting an Asciano executive. If this is the case, there should be a preliminary announcement, then followed by the confirmation of completion.
When this happens, we might be in for $2 by Christmas.
