At the moment Jupiter is carrying out what is termed "trial production" at Akkar East. In effect that means all production has to be sold into the domestic market. The price for oil there is much less than the export price. Jupiter needs to build the topside infrastructure for the field before it will be given permission & a licence to export oil. Once it gets to that stage then the company makes good money until then it doesn't.
We've been waiting for ages for them to either get the money to do the infrastructure or sell out.
