I'll stick with CJ and his analysis and be happy with $61+, he's the boss and is careful not to give much away the market will determine the price, Asian buyers are tough.

I guess from your history of posting, you are new to MUS, so welcome to MUS.

I suggest you do a bit more reading into the history of MUS to get it right.

CJ's last public comment on average price per carat for MUS was 'very conservatively' at $100 per carat, so not sure where you get $61 per carat.

I should add very strongly that Gemfields is not Mustang!!! So do the research to ascertain the very significant difference on the ruby quality they each mine.

Mustang currently concentrates on secondary deposits, which is higher grade rubies, and Gemfields offered, it seems in recent auctions, largely primary deposits in bulk, hence the high carat volume sales, which are much lower quality rubies, hence the lower price per carat.

Get your head around the difference, and you may be surprised on the results of MUS.

I guess something to consider or not, up to you.
