Firstly, it'll depend on whether a placement is done or else bank finance. Placement will dilute shares but keep co. out of clutches of fees somewhat but bank finance will limit dilution and better for retail shareholders.

In theory (a tad hard to apply in this market), either means should have a positive effect on sp as the mkt can be in no doubt that all hurdles to becoming an imminent producer have been overcome. The market doesn't handle uncertainty very well and gets skittish if final details are "up in the air". This is why the sp has retraced, not to mention the nickel price and worsening global economy.

Most expect a placement but, who knows, maybe there'll be a pleasant surprise.
