FBR needs to produce an economic and building downturn resilience plan, stress testing all cash flows and contingencies.
Usually a few years after the economies rebound from a crash people start making all sorts of arguments about a crash, these arguments may be quite logical but they are just too early. These arguments are also often made later down the track before the actual crash happens so at that time they are correct and the person is then credited for predicting the crash.
It just takes a lot of kicking of the can down the road for things to get bad enough to reach their logical conclusion, markets will make sense in the end, what doesn't make sense is how irrationally long it can take. The problem is having the cash systems to finance accurate logical predictions that take a lot longer then they should to occur and not betting everything on an event occurring as that is betting everything on one thought which only needs a single inaccuracy to be wrong.
You may be right that there is an even bigger problem with ever increasing US debt and the rise of a BRICs currency and the end of the dollar etc. The problem is knowing the timing, people have been talking about this for ages, they are always saying it is about to happen. It probably will happen but probably not right now.
