The company was valued at $100m+ on the day of the trading halt, so ~$8m in trades on that day is rather small in comparison with the massive impending losses of probably hundreds or thousands of people who held from 0.001 to the max price (if the SP plummets to 0.003). Only a very few will break even, including institutional investors. This will almost certainly instigate a legal battle against the company.
