RIM announced the changes in Billis parties substantial holding below
- 14/4/24 sold down 12M+ shares
- 8/7/24 sold down 21M+ shares
My guess is that more notices will follow as Billis continues to dribble out more of his holdings. Due to the illiquidity of RIM this will take some time as there are no institutional investors willing to participate in a book build. Just speculative Mums and Dads that may be caught holding worthless paper.
The savvy Billis want's out of RIM, and shareholders should note this. If Arbitration goes GPRs way and they assert their majority holding in Fifield then RIM will have a controlling partner that wants no part of them.
The only future that I see RIM offering...is tax losses.
