Yes....but when is NSW govt also going realise its mistake and re-enter into discussions with MEL for the return of the rights it 'stole' from MEL and shareholders, not to mention the damage to landholders and their rights to a return for the gas on their properties. And whilst we are at it, how about re-visiting a good cheap gas deal with MEL for the local businesses in Casino as well as a good reliable supply for the rest of NSW and maybe into VIC and QLD as well. Just think of the money the NSW govt could be raking in had they not been swayed by rabid short sighted green thinking. Yes we need clean energy, but we need to become sustainable before we pull the plug on reliable less dirty natural gas. And while I'm at it, has anyone ever looked up just how much energy it takes to make solar panels and wind farms not to mention the clean up costs particularly for the dangerous rare earths in modern wind turbine magnets and in batteries.
