Clearly, there has been a concerted effort to keep a lid on the AMP share price over the past few weeks. The pressure to do so is now drawing to an end, with the completion of the price setting period for the latest issue of stock.
Interestingly, I am reliably informed that there are no more parcels of shares to be offloaded that can keep a cap on the prices - the sellers have been exhausted. There will be tremendous upward pressure on prices shortly as the instos want to see there new investment perform and the gross undervaluation of AMP will be corrected.
Look for some buying later today!!!
