There is not nearly enough neodymium to build all those cars, and you can't make new things in the periodic table. Without a great magnet to make it go fast and far, an electric car is just a $30,000 paperweight. The years from 2025 to 2030 will see some unbelievable price increases for neodymium. The price of neodymium is just noise compared to the price of the car, and the car manufacturers will just pay up.
