Some here are disappointed with the price of the capital raising and the recent resource announcement. This is missing the point.

VMS has 3 major strengths which make it a great investment.

1. Price
Tin is in a supply shortage and the price has enjoyed a significant re-rating. I do not see how with a weak home market the US can avoid replacing lead with tin in their solder in order to compete in Europe / China and that may well give a further boost to tin demand.

2. Resource
We are talking about a resource which is the 4th largest in the world and all indications are that it will move up further. This is more than world class and is in a stable country (no matter what the anti mining tax lobby says) and an area with top class infrastructure.

3. Cost
If the above are not enough, the deposits are shallow and offer significant cost advantages.

Nothing is ever certain, but with VMS you cannot get a much better set of fundumentals for a developing mining project.
