Yes GXY was and should have been a leader as lithium only gets better. The announcement by Tesla of its new battery to target homes and business has huge potential not only in towns and cities as backup and solar energy storage but also across the world in places where as yet they are not connected to grid power. They don't need to put in costly power grids just install solar and batteries a massive leap just like what happened with mobile phones.
Tesla's Giga Battery factory now under construction in Nevada will produce lithium batteries and will double the current world production. That is just the beginning Tesla plan to build more of these battery plants.
