Probably biggest deals pharma were striking that involved equity with biotechs aside from milestone type arrangements were "option to buy" deals put something up front take 10-20% equity fund the next say 2 years of R&D with big bank to speed it up then have an option to aquire the company at a predetermined figure often large at the end of it. Pretty hit and miss with them following up at the end despite pouring lots of money in though. I guess it's a possibility.

You are right with/about my mates, but I spent the last 3 years suggesting they buy ado, so they wont touch PYC lol. I got one to agree to buy ado and at the last minute I said make it pyc and he did...2.8 but i first suggested it at 1.8 so.... and less than 200k, shares.. I need more mates.But really, its a good way to lose mates. Been buying my kid shares, even that sucks. I thought TOE was the go.
