So, the vault storing the diamonds, under armed guard can only be accessed by Lucapa staff, and due to this fact, Lom have managed to offer up the lower quality diamonds for valuation, all the while keeping the rare valuable stones away from the prying eyes of the Angolan government, their JV partner and the local workforce, and they've managed to keep this under wraps.
Perhaps the price per tonne dropped because the recovered stones are falling in quality?
