So what does the current situation tell everyone, particularly PPX shareholders, about PPX and its current viability? In terms of PPX versus PXUPA, PXUPA is a bit like a pawn on a chessboard-not that powerful initially, but has the potential to become the most powerful piece on the board. Ignore it at your peril. Should PPX fail, PPX shareholders rank behind PXUPA on wind-up. PPX shareholders therefore have to ask themselves the likelihood of PPX failing. Or, alternatively, ask yourself if PPX is a good, profitable company.
