firsova, judging by the SP, the market is not so sure an offer of 9c is going to happen. However, this is also the same with EOC (an indicative non-binding blah blah)- 60c offer, and current SP of 44c; and SDL with an offer of 57c and a SP of 36.5c. Until these offers are on the table, or bound to the bed post, the market is always cynical. Also, if you've had a chance, check out the article in the AFR today on PPX. I reckon nothing is easy on the markets, but PPX is probably always just a bit tougher.
