Maybe take some postgrad stats and maths classes, or perhaps even the undergrad variety.
Your grossly oversimplified “contract pricing lags China spot price by x months” “conclusion” is fundamentally flawed despite there being some apparent short term correlations when looking at some portions of some of the available data.
There is NO one contract price, for starters, and I did NOT say that there is NO link whatsoever; just that it is in no way as simple as some are claiming, and basic examples illustrate this clearly.
Don’t let the facts get in the way though.
