No idea. I am new to coal. Thermal coal prices I've seen are about $80 a tonne, but I don't have a clue when it comes to things like no. Joules per Kg although I understand the more Joules of energy per kilo must make it more valuable. I just get the feeling Eskom is sucking off the economic rent here. Governments do not want you to have an ROCE greater than 15% otherwise they feel they are paying to dearly for your capital.
