So maybe not a case of 'get of your high horse', and maybe a case that the market in its collective wisdom, understood where the fundamentals where heading!!!
Price is what you pay, value is what you receive!!!!
But to be fair, a share price of $2 and a share price of $7.5 at the time of your posting, I would say that risk as significantly decreased for future buyers of the stock at $2 compared to $7.50
